MELVIN JONES was born January 13, 1879.
While secretary of the Chicago Business Circle, Melvin Jones felt the businessmen could put their talents to work improving their communities. June 7, 1917, the Association of Lions Clubs was born.
Melvin Jones the founder of Lions Clubs International died June 1, 1961.
